Vevo launches on Tuesday 12/8/09 as both a Web site and an embedded video player that will replace Sony Music videos now available on Google Inc.'s video /site YouTube.com The Vevo Web site and player will also have links to allow fans to buy songs from Amazon.com or Apple Inc.'s iTunes. Shakira's videos will be made available on YouTube, on VEVO.com, the service's marquee destination site, and through a special VEVO branded embedded player.
