February 2nd is only a few days away, and you all know what that means...

... Shakira is going to turn 35!


Here's what to do:

Record a birthday greeting for Shakira (audio or video). You can also send in a photo of you with your Shakira collection, with Shakira herself, at a concert, with a sign for her , etc. (anything Shakira-related with you in it, pretty much). Other options include doing one of her dances, singing the "Happy Birthday to You" song in your native language… whatever you think will get your message and love for Shakira across to her!

You can do any or all of these options, you're not limited to just a picture, video, an audio recording, etc!

FOR AUDIO SUBMISSIONS

-Speak clearly!

-Please do not play music in the background.

FOR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS

-Must be in a standard video format (avi, wmv, mp4, mov, etc.). Please try to avoid low quality cell phone recordings unless absolutely necessary.

-Please do not play music in the background (unless you're dancing).


FOR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS

-You must be in the photo you're submitting. Photoshopped collages of pictures of Shakira will not be used; this video is for her to see her fans, not herself!


THERE IS NO SET TIME LIMIT FOR AUDIO OR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS. Of course, said length should be within reason (no need to tell Shakira your life story!), but I will not set a definite time limit.


MY ATTACHMENT IS TOO BIG. HOW DO I SEND YOU MY FILE?

There are many sites you can upload files to. These sites will upload your file, then give you a link to download said file:

Proyecto De Cumpleaños Para Shakira

Faltan dias para el 2do de febrero, y todos ustedes saben lo que eso significa…

¡Shakira cumple 35 años!

Esto es lo que tienen que hacer:

Graba unas felicitaciones de cumpleaños para Shakira (audio o video). También puedes enviar una foto con tu colección de Shakira, con Shakira misma, en un concierto, con el cartel para ella, etc. (más bien cualquier cosa relacionada a Shakira donde estés tú incluido). Otras opciones incluyen haciendo uno de sus bailes, cantando “Feliz Cumpleaños a Ti” en tu idioma natal…¡cualquier cosa que creas llevará a Shakira tu mensaje y tu amor!

Puedes hacer una o todas las opciones, ¡no estás limitado/a sólo una foto, un video, audio, etc!

-Tiene que estar el formato normal de video (avi, wmv, mp4, mov, etc.). Trate de evitar grabaciones de baja calidad en celulares al no ser que sea absolutamente necesario.

-Por favor no toque música en el fondo (al no ser que estés bailando).



PARA FOTOS

-Debes estar en la foto que envías. Fotos montadas de Shakira no se usarán; ¡este video es para que ella vea a su fanaticada, no a ella misma!



NO HAY LIMITE EN EL TIEMPO PARA AUDIO O VIDEO. Por supuesto, debe ser razonable (no hay por qué contarle a Shakira tu vida entera), pero no tendré firmes límites de tiempo.



MI ENLANCE ES DEMASIADO GRANDE. ¿COMO MANDO MI ARCHIVO?

Hay muchos lugares a donde puedes enviar tu archivo. Estos sitios subirán tu archivo y te enviarán un enlace para abrirlo:
